MdME to Participate in "Seminar on Trade in Services between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries"

It was held this Friday, June 1st, at MGM Macau, the Seminar on Trade in Services between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries will discuss Macao’s role as a Service Platform between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries.

Rui Pinto Proença, Partner at MdME, was among the panelists in a discussion focused on ways to harness the investment potential among Portuguese Speaking Countries and on showcasing Macao’s unique advantages as a Service Platform especially in facilitating trade exchanges between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and Portuguese Speaking Countries.

Rui has been involved in assisting Chinese investors in Africa in the framework of MLGTS Legal Circle, a network of associations and alliances between renowned law firms established by Morais Leitão, with the objective to deliver high quality legal services to clients in Portuguese Speaking Countries.

This seminar is jointly organized by the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries (Forum Macau) and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province.
