Helena Kok appointed arbitrator of ZCIA

On August 16, 2021, the Zhuhai Court of International Arbitration convened its first session. After the plenary meeting, it was decided to hire 785 people from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and other foreign countries to become the first Zhuhai International Arbitration Court Members.

Helena Kok, MdME Lawyers partner, is honored to be part of the first group of members from Macau. Helena remarks: "As a legal professional based in Macau, I am thrilled to be appointed as the first member of the inter-regional arbitrator. This will enhance and facilitate the cooperation between the neighboring regions, and hopefully, in the future, it can promote closer cooperation between Macau and Hengqin and provide professional legal and arbitration services for cross-regional commercial disputes in the Greater Bay Area."
