MdME to host panel on Ethics of Suitability at 2018 IAGA Gaming Summit

MdME will host the panel "Ethics of Suitability (Legal Ethics Credit)" in which panelists will debate the issue of suitability in the gaming industry. 

The panel will be moderated by Scott Scherer, a Partner, with Holland & Hart; and counts with the participation of: 

  • Rui Pinto Proença, Partner, MdME 
  • Tracey Elkerton, Global Head of Compliance, Aristocrat 
  • Marie Antonette B. Quiogue, Senior Associate, Romulo 

This session of legal experts will evaluate how suitability is defined in different jurisdictions, whether attorneys are best equipped to deal with cross-border implications of a party being considered unsuitable to operate gaming establishments, the ethics of advising clients on regulatory investigations into their backgrounds and more.
