MdME Lisbon advises corporate clients in the sectors of financial services, investment funds, technology, construction, environment, and renewable energies. Additionally, the firm represents Lusophone investment in China. Our goal, states Rui Proença, “is to be the leading firm advising Chinese capital in Portugal, as well as in supporting Lusophone investment in China”.
How? “We offer a unique service”, emphasizes the Managing Partner, explaining: “We have a deep knowledge of Chinese legal and economic landscape, acquired over 15 years of advising corporate clients in large transactions in the region, as well as in key investments of Chinese capital in Portugal, which gives us a value proposition we believe is unique internationally”.
With this latest move, MdME becomes the only law firm with a (physical) presence in the two special administrative regions of China and Portugal, notes Rui Proença. In all, the Luso-Chinese firm has 35 legal professionals and 70 team members in three markets.
