The Macau PDPA was enacted in August 2005. While it has provided a robust framework in privacy and protection of personal data in Macau over the years, the progressive reliance on technology and consequent increase of data processing activities, as well as a higher expectation for a GBA cooperation, may require a review of current data privacy legislation in Macau. In this webinar, Director at Drew & Napier Anastasia Su-Anne Chen will share alongisde Daniela Guerreiro, to discuss the key aspects of the PDPA and explore opportunities for its revision to effectively address the challenges posed by emerging technologies, while also ensuring better cooperation within the GBA.
