Emanuel Soares

Emanuel is a consultant in the firm's Corporate | M&A practice.

He advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, including private equity deals, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and commercial partnerships. Emanuel’s experience also includes assisting and advising corporate clients in governance matters and regulatory compliance across a wide range of regulated sectors. In addition, Emanuel helps advising in equity capital markets transactions, particularly in IPOs of Macau interests with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Emanuel heads the firm’s M Venture Desk, working alongside founders and innovators, investment funds and government stakeholders.

His experience includes assisting advising in initial formation and fundraising, equity incentive plans, business model vetting, regulatory compliance and other aspects related to startup growth and fundraising. He also works closely with various government and private entities - such as incubation programs and higher education institutions - in providing advisory and mentorship to young entrepreneurs.

Emanuel is currently preparing his admission to the Macau Lawyers Association under the tutelage of Rui Pinto Proença.
