José Espírito Santo Leitão, Partner at MdME and the firm's Co-Head of the Banking and Finance practice, was a speaker at yesterday's Macau Loan Market Conference, organized by the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA), where he delivered a presentation with the latest updates on Macau's Anti-Money Laundering rules. The practitioner addressed the topic "Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing", giving an insight into the previous AML guidelines issued by the Macau Monetary Authority and the key changes on the new AML and CFT guidelines.
